Last December, Lady May came home from school with a secret: “I made you a Christmas present in class today!”
“A present?” I said.
“Yep, but it’s a secret”, she said. “I’ll give you a hint though, it starts with a CA and ends with a LENDAR”.
We’ve been giggling about that one for a year. So when she came home a few weeks ago with the same announcement and added “but THIS year I can keep a secret”, I just couldn't keep myself from responding “Does it start with a CA and end with a LENDAR?”
She clenched her fists and growled: “How’d you know?!”
We'll try this again next year.
